Hot-Off
Ok, I'm gonna be a bit neanderthal for a moment (but, I swear, I won't accuse anyone of putting lipstick on a pig), and go with my baser instincts for a video hot-off. You be the judge.

Not a tough call -- Phair by a comfortable margin.
Although it's been several years since I've played any of Phair's stuff, she definitely beats Lewis(whose first solo album I spin regularly) in a "hot-off."
By the way, good to see you blogging again -- my tastes overlap a lot with yours, so I've always enjoyed reading your views on new releases. And good call on adding Amy Rigby to the "Greatest" list..
